Obituary of Antonina Wurbs

Antonina F. Wurbs "Nina" (nee Fazio) Age 79. Passed away Friday, February 15, 2008 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Born and raised in Joliet, she lived in the Quad Cities area until retiring to Joliet in 2006. She was an in-home caregiver in the Quad Cities area. Formerly employed with the HyVee Grocery Store for over 12 years in the deli department as a catering assistant. She retired from Service Rubber Company in Rock Island, IL as a floor supervisor after over 30 years of service. Member of the Church of St. Anthony. Preceded in death by her husband, William Wurbs; her parents, Antonino and Maria (nee Pecararo) Fazio; five brothers and three sisters. Survived by one sister, Mary (late Art) Scaccia of Channahon; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services for Antonina F. Wurbs will be Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Church of St. Anthony, 100 Scott Street, Joliet, where a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery next to her parents. As it was Antonina's final request, Cremation Rites have been accorded.
