Obituary of George Yack
George Francis Yack
Age 78, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, August 22, 2011 at his home. He was the only child of Raymond and Mae (nee Schenkel) Yack, longtime residents of Joliet. Graduate of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus School Class of 1949 and Joliet Township High School. George enjoyed painting, golf, billiards, bowling, basketball, fishing, attending JCA football games with his friend and cousin Mickey Hasse, and hunting with his beloved dogs Jake and Hooter. He also enjoyed an occasional vodka gimlet at Merichka's.
