Obituary of Patrick Zeiger

Zeiger, Patrick Joseph Age 61. Passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Cancer Treatment Center of Tulsa, OK. Born in Chicago, he was a graduate of Joliet Central and Cave Tech. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he served in Vietnam (1968-1970). He enjoyed singing, playing the guitar and working on his farm. Survived by his wife, Vanessa Zeiger of Mount Vernon, MO; one son, Patrick (Jennifer) Ruettiger of Little Rock, AR; daughter, Shannon (Aaron) Todd of Kansas City, MO; two granddaughters, Paige and Allison Ruettiger; three sisters, Kathleen Zeiger of Braidwood, Marilyn (Terry) Canipe of North Carolina and Carolyn (Ray) Donovan of Wilmington; one brother, Michael Zeiger of Braidwood; brother-in-law, Larry Patrick of Lockport. Preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Helen Zeiger; and one sister, Nancy Patrick. A Memorial Service for Patrick J. Zeiger will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Inurnment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
