Norma Zobel
Age 78. Passed away Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Joliet, she was a long time Lockport resident. A long time parishioner of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. She was an avid porcelain painter.
Survived by her children, Nancy (Gary) Smith, Patricia (Brian) Bennett and Mark (Anne Lohmeier) Zobel; grandchildren, Daniel, Joy and Georgia Rae Smith; Jackson and Allison Bennett; and Amanda and Amy Zobel; beloved nephew, Richard (Nancy) Rivera; great-niece and great-nephew, Renee and Randall Rivera; brother-in-law, Thomas Rivera and additional in-laws and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Denis R. Zobel (1988); grandson, Benjamin; sister, Louise Rivera; brother, Chas Losa; parents, Emilio and Santina Colombo; and her stepfather, Robert Losa.
Funeral Services for Norma Zobel will be Monday, December 31, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1501 W. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook where she will Lie in State from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
