Obituary of Dorothy Zouganelis

Dorothy M. Zouganelis (nee Enich) Age 77. Passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Plainfield. Born in Joliet, she was a lifelong resident. Survived by three daughters, Debra Liker of Joliet, Kathleen A. (John) Jadron of Joliet and Mary J. (Edward) Ruettiger of Fox Lake; one son, Peter N. (Jennifer) Zouganelis of Tarzana, CA; six grandchildren, David, Denise and Danielle Liker; Richard (Megan) Jadron, Michelle and James Jadron; one great-granddaughter, Madison Rose Jadron; one sister, Evelyn (Thomas) Zola of Joliet; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and lifelong friends, Bob and Dolly Sticken. Preceded in death by her husband, James D. Zouganelis (1988); one daughter, Denise Marie Zouganelis; one infant grandson, John Jadron, Jr.; her parents, Thomas and Mildred Enich; one brother, George Enich; and one infant brother, Nick Enich. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank all her many friends at the Timbers, and the staff of Lakewood Nursing Home and Joliet Area Community Hospice for their loving care. Funeral Services for Dorothy M. Zouganelis will be Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church for services at 9:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
