Obituary of Lillian Zouganelis

Zouganelis, Lillian M. (nee Wallace) Age 84. At rest Friday, July 15, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Joliet, she was a lifelong resident. Member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Formerly employed by Caterpillar, Inc. She was an avid bowler, golfer, and enjoyed snow skiing. Lil dearly loved her family and her church. Preceded in death by her husband, Chris Zouganelis; her parents, William and Anna Wallace; and one brother, William J. Wallace, Jr. Survived by her brother, John Wallace of Texas; her stepdaughter, Mary (late George) Drakos of Frankfort; step-granddaughter, Kelly (David) Dawley; step-great-grandchildren, George and Maria Dawley; sister-in-law of Britta Wallace of Elwood, Jimmie McKanna of Joliet, Kay Zouganelis of Joliet, George (Helen) Zouganelis of Wilmington, and Helen Skaropoulos; three nephews, Brian G. (Chris) Wallace of Elwood, Scott W. Wallace of Morris, and Jim (Beverly) Holt of Joliet; one niece, Linda (Roy) Granstrom; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. A Memorial Service for Lillian M. Zouganelis will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1910 Black Rd., Joliet. Inurnment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials in her name to Our Savior Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
