Obituary of Janice Rossetto

Rossetto, Janice M. (nee Petak) Age 68. Passed away peacefully Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Joliet to the late John R. and Mary C. (Gasperich) Petak, she was a lifelong resident. Graduate of St. Francis Academy Class of 1962. Retired from Christian Brothers as an insurance claims supervisor. Member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Channahon, KSKJ St. Genevieve Society. She loved to read, bake, cook and entertain others. Janice always looked forward to wintering in Spring Hill, FL with her husband, Jack. She enjoyed nature and tending to her flower garden. Throughout her life, she always put others first. Surviving are her loving husband of 45 years, John "Jack" Rossetto of Channahon; three daughters, Karen (Steve) Rossetto of California, Andrea Rossetto of Chicago and Lynn (Oneko) Rossetto of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, Jim (Rita) Petak of Minooka; sisters-in-law, Marianne (Ray) Ryan of Ohio and Joan Rossetto-Sapp of Topeka, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. As it was her wish, Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 24500 S. Navajo Drive, Channahon. Family will receive all friends and relatives at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the wishes of the family would be appreciated.
