Obituary of Carlton White

Carlton J. White Age 90. At rest Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Long Branch, NJ on December 24, 1921 to the late James and Anna White, he was a resident of Joliet since 1967. A WWII U.S. Navy veteran. Member of the Church of St. Jude. Carlton was a prolific reader, his family was his life. He volunteered much of his time at St. Jude. Survived by the love of his life, Josephine "Jo" (nee Hayes) White of Joliet; devoted father of Barbara (Fred) Comaduran of Benson, AZ, Joanne (Bob) Gonda of Joliet and Carlton "C.J." (Carole) White of Savannah, GA; his five dear grandchildren, Lee (Maya) Comaduran, Marc Comaduran, James (Megan) Gonda, Elizabeth (Tom) Nealis and Jonathan (fiancee Brette) Gonda; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his infant daughter, Josephine (1963). Funeral Services for Carlton J. White will be Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with military honors conducted by the U.S. Navy to follow.
