Obituary of Ann McGuire

McGuire, Ann M. (nee Kelly) Age 86. Passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet to the late Robert and Marie (nee Hermanns) Kelly, she was a lifelong resident. Graduate of St. Francis Academy and attended St. Mary of the Woods College of Indiana and Northwestern University. Retired from Will County Health Department as an audiologist. Former member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Choir. Ann always had a smile, loved to sing, travel and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Surviving are her two daughters, Patricia McGuire of Joliet and Margaret "Peggy" (Dave) Stoiber of Plainfield; step-grandmother of David Jr. and Sarah Stoiber; one brother, Donald (Betty) Kelly of Joliet; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" J. McGuire (2005); her son, Michael (1977); parents; and one brother, Raymond Kelly. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Inn at Willow Falls for their loving and compassionate care. Funeral Services for Ann M. McGuire will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
