Obituary of John Seerup

John W. Seerup "Cakes" Age 60. Passed away peacefully Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Morris Hospital. Born in Chicago to Harold and Karen (Grinderslev) Seerup on September 13, 1952. A graduate of Dwight High School. A US Air Force Veteran. Preceded by his father, Harold Seerup. Survived by his mother, Karen Seerup of Dwight; sister, Sharon (Jerry) Wahl of Dwight; niece, Susan Carrasco of Dwight; nephew, Jerry M. (Lori) Wahl of Breese, IL; great niece, Brianna Wahl of Breese, IL; great nephew, Thomas Carrasco; aunt, Yetta Grinderslev and many cousins. John was a member of the VFW Post #2608, American Legion and enjoyed watching the Chicago Bear, White Sox and racing.
