Obituary of Wanda Conrad

Conrad, Wanda (nee Gawlik) Age 89, of Joliet the past three years and a former longtime Chicago resident, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 21, 2012. Loving mother of Sharon (Samuel) Slocum of Plainfield and Jerome (Rita) Conrad of Chicago; dear grandmother of Donna (David) Spalla, Michael (Michelle) Slocum, and Lisa, Jennifer and Rachel Conrad; proud great-grandma of 15. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Leonard "Bud" Conrad (April 28, 2012); her parents, John and Honora Gawlik; three brothers, Edward, Matthew and Joseph Gawlik. Funeral Services Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
