Obituary of Linda Barra

Barra, Linda S. (nee Spisak) Age 64. Suddenly Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet to the late George and Roberta (Brown) Spisak. She was a lifelong resident and graduate of St. Patrick grade school and St. Francis Academy. Employed at Citgo Refinery. Formerly employed by Folger Adams for 20 years and Army Corp. of Engineers. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, an avid photographer, enjoyed modern technology, gardening and most of all spending time with her family. Survived by her loving husband of 43 years, William Barra of Joliet; two brothers, Tim (Debbie) Spisak of Wilmington and Bob Spisak of Chatsworth, IL; dear aunt of Debbie Spisak, Jeff (Nancy) Spisak, Scott Spisak, Michelle (Chris) Charley, Heather (Josh) Sabotta, Tim and Robert Spisak; several grandnieces and nephews also survive. Preceded by her parents; her brother, Ronald Spisak; and nephew, Joey Spisak. Funeral Services for Linda S. Barra will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
