Obituary of James Saltzman

Saltzman, Rev. James C. Retired Ordained Elder of the United Methodist Church, age 66, of Downers Grove, and formerly of Joliet, passed away suddenly Friday, December 28, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Born April 11, 1946 in Ohio, IL to the late Curtis and Minnie (nee Thompson) Saltzman, he served congregations throughout the Northern Illinois Conference until his retirement July 1, 2011. Loving and devoted father of Sarah Ann Saltzman of Downers Grove and Jack Saltzman of Mishawaka, IN; fond brother of Joyce Saltzman of Kewanee, IL; and dear uncle to several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcella K. (nee Kovach) Saltzman (January 2011); his parents; one brother and three sisters. Funeral Services for Rev. James C. Saltzman will be Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Thomsom officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
