Obituary of Wilma Nimmo

Wilma M. Nimmo Age 89, of Joliet, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Presence Villa Franciscan. Born May 20, 1923 in Padroni, CO, she was the daughter of Carl Gustaf and Mabel Jane (nee Moline) Knutson. She taught first grade at Marycrest Grade School and Pershing Grade School, both in Joliet. She was also a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church. Wilma will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, as well as an exceptional and nurturing teacher. Surviving are her two loving daughters, Victoria Nimmo of Davenport, IA and Kristin Nimmo of Wheaton, IL. She was preceded by her beloved husband, Homer Clark Nimmo, her parents, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services for Wilma M.
