Obituary of Catherine Worthington

Catherine M. Worthington Age 92. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Joliet on May 6, 1920, the daughter of Ernest and Catherine (nee Bick) Dorich, she was a lifetime area resident. She enjoyed camping and crocheting. Survived by her children, Catherine (John) Hoffmeyer, Barbara (Sig) Domantas and William (Suzanne) Worthington; grandchildren, Michael, Scott (Nancy) and Tony Hoffmeyer; Kimberly Pifer, Bill (Carrie) Worthington, Julie (Terry) McGee and Jeffrey (Chris) Worthington; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Art (Sue) Rambo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Howard Worthington; two grandsons, John Hoffmeyer and David Domantas; one sister, Joy Nunes and one brother, Ernest Dorich. Cathy's family will always remember the care and compassion shown by the staff of Joliet Area Community Hospice. Funeral Services for Catherine M. Worthington will be Monday, January 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
