Obituary of Robert Milewski

Robert Milewski Age 63, of Plainfield, and formerly of Chicago and Bolingbrook, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at Loyola University Medical Center with his devoted family by his side. Bob was a good and just man who was dedicated to his loving wife, Theresa, and was a best friend to his son, Kyle. He was also dedicated to his country, serving in the United States Air Force. Beloved and cherished husband of 49 1/2 years to Theresa (nee Gawel) Milewski; beloved and loving father of Kyle; adored grandfather to baby Aria; devoted son of the late Edward and Rosemary Milewski, Sr., and son-in-law of the late Frank and Helen Gawel; loving brother of Jack (Judy) Milewski and Edward (Katie) Milewski; fond brother-in-law of Bruno (late Mary Ann, late Joyce) Gawel, Zenon (Georgene) Gawel, and Joseph (Dolores) Gawel; and cherished uncle to several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the dedicated doctors and nurses at Loyola NICU for their compassion and care. We love you, Bob. You'll be forever with us until we meet again. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 N. Brookforest Dr., Shorewood for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
