Obituary of Mary Lichner

Mary E. Lichner (nee Waddle) Age 89, of the Towers on Caterpillar Drive in Joliet, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. She was born in Dyersburg, TN on December 18, 1923 to the late Faye (nee Spencer) and "Shorty" Waddle. Mary resided in the Chicago area for many years until moving back to Milan, TN, shortly before her late husband, George's retirement. In addition to George and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Clyde and Morris Waddle. Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her friends at the "Tower" on Caterpillar Drive where she had resided the past eight years. As it was Mary's wish, cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will take place later, alongside her husband at Hopewell Baptist Cemetery in Cedar Grove, TN.
