Obituary of William Myers

Myers, William A. "Bill" Age 55, of Joliet, passed away suddenly Saturday, February 16, 2013. Born in Hinsdale to the late Harley and Lorraine (nee Davis) Myers, he was raised in Westmont and had lived in Joliet for the past ten years. A U.S. Army veteran. He was employed at Jewel Food Store (Jefferson & Midland) in Joliet. He was an avid sports enthusiast, who was a diehard Cubs and Blackhawks fan. He also enjoyed visiting Harrah's Casino. Loving father of Rebekah Myers, Kevin Myers and Nora Myers; proud "Papa Bill" of Jacob and Kaylee; also survived by several siblings, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral Services for William A. Myers will be Friday, February 22, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet. Cremation Rites will follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to be distributed later, would be appreciated.
