James C. Rodeghiero
Age 66. Passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at home. Born in Joliet and a longtime Lockport and Minooka area resident. A U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. Retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company after over 32 years of service. Also retired from the Minooka High School District after eight years of service as a maintenance technician.
Preceded by his father and mother, Chris Rodeghiero and Eleanor (nee O'Connor) Tondini; one sister, Margaret A. Rodeghiero; and nephew, Michael S. Ray.
Survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Nancy Rodeghiero of Minooka; two daughters, Michelle Shanks of Hawaii and Jeanette Rodeghiero of Charlestown, IN; three sons, Paul Featherstone of Minooka, Steve (Mindy) Featherstone of Braidwood and Brian (Kelli) Featherstone of Joliet; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, JoAnn Cherogan of Oak Forest, IL; and numerous aunts, uncles, niece, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services for James C. Rodeghiero will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, IL. Full military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army at the funeral home chapel, at the conclusion of his services.
