Obituary of Frances Cucinotta

Frances M. "Cookie" Cucinotta Age 64, a longtime Berwyn resident, passed away peacefully, at her brother's home, after a hard fought battle with cancer on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was born March 21, 1948 in Chicago to the late Mary and Frank Cucinotta and attended McLaren Grade School and St. Pat's High School. Fran was an Accountant for many years at Mid-America Bank. She was the beloved sister of Rosemary (Bill) Kalmuk, Michael (Angela) Cucinotta, Mary Jane (Joe) Ventrella, Debbie Cucinotta and Patricia Cucinotta. She was also a loving and devoted aunt and great aunt. Cookie will be remembered fondly as a straightforward, upfront woman who would "tell it like it is." She was fun to be with, had a unique, uncontainable laugh reminiscent of Donald Duck and would do anything when someone needed a hand or lift, whether a friend or stranger. Some of her favorite pastimes were dancing, music, watching the "Rat Pack" and enjoying spending time with her family. She will be sorely missed. Funeral Services for Frances M. Cucinotta will be held Monday, March 11, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
