Obituary of Hans Renz

Hans Patrick Renz Age 75. At rest Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his late residence. Born in Louisville, KY to the late Carl J. and Grace P. (nee Mudd) Renz, residing in Joliet since 1970. Former owner/operator of 4R's Commercial Cleaning, he retired from Van den Bergh Foods in 1992. Member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, serving on the Administrative Council and the Worship Committee, he was the head usher and the recipient of St. Raymond Nonnatus Society Award for Outstanding Volunteerism. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judie (nee Danneker) Renz of Joliet; four children, Kelly (Jerry Sarich) Manfred of Joliet, Greg Renz of Joliet, Chris Renz of California and Kathleen (Joe) Barbic of Plainfield; five grandchildren, Craig (Angie) Kelly, Eric Manfred, Cal, Maxwell Hans, and Laney Barbic; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Brynn Kelly. Funeral Services for Pat Renz will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. As it was his wish, Cremation Rites will be accorded following Mass.
