Obituary of Lee Rademacher

Lee E. Rademacher Age 65. Peacefully, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Salem Village Nursing Home following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet area resident. A graduate of St. Procopius High School, Class of 1965. A retired member of Laborer's Union Local #75 after many years of service. Also formerly employed by Operating Engineers Union Local #150. Preceded by his father, William F. Rademacher; his mother, Honora E. (nee Cavanaugh) Rademacher Brooks; two brothers, Kenneth and Paul Rademacher; two sisters, Elaine Whalen and Catherine Rademacher. Survived by four brothers, Roger (Katherine) of Shorewood, Gerald (Debbie) of Joliet, Keith (Beth) of Naperville and John (Helen) Rademacher of Morris; three sisters, Jean (Curt) Thomas of California, Mary (Bill) Scheidt and Denise (Frank) Stec of Orland Park; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Lee E. Rademacher will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. A special thanks to Joliet Area Community Hospice who was there for Lee and his family on his journey to eternal life.
