Obituary of Marie Gorak

Marie S. Gorak (nee Macek) Age 92, of Joliet since 1985, and formerly of Chicago (West Lawn neighborhood), passed away April 5, 2013 in Joliet. Loving and devoted mother of Nancy (Lawrence) Kmiecik of Wheaton and Gwendolyn (Michael) Hovanes of Orland Park; and fond and cherished grandmother of Mark (Margaret Mary Lyons) Kmiecik. Beloved wife of the late Casimir A. Gorak (1981) and Florian Kus (2006). Also preceded by parents, Frank and Sophie Caroline (nee Ciston) Macek; brother, Edward Macek; and half-brother, Robert Macek. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
