Obituary of Thelma Slaboszewski

Thelma Slaboszewski (nee Wolfe) Age 85. A lifetime Joliet resident passed away peacefully Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Symphony of Joliet. Survived by one son, James; one daughter, Shirley; grandson, Michael; two sisters-in-law, Joan "Sunny" (Bob) Hobbs and Carol Slaboszewski and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Chester; parents, William and Catherine (nee Gomora) Wolfe; one sister, Ruby Barz and brother, Bill "Buddy" Wolfe. Thelma, an animal lover, was employed years ago at the American Institute of Laundry. She also operated a beauty shop out of her home. All friends and relatives are invited to gather Friday, April 12, 2013, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
