Obituary of James Williamson
James P. Williamson
Age 75, of Plainfield, and formerly of Bolingbrook, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with his family by his side.
A 1956 graduate of Joliet Township High School and worked as Waste Water Foreman for the Village of Bolingbrook, retiring in 2001.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed music and was a drummer.
Survived by his beloved wife, Nancy (nee Adams) Williamson of Plainfield; his children, James J. Williamson, Mark D. (Alexandra) Williamson and Carla (Claudio) Camara; stepchildren, Dawn McCulloh and Sheila (Bill) Godwin; 12 grandchildren, Michael Williamson, Trevor Williamson, Devan (Brigham) Nielson, Isabelle Camara, Max Camara, Christopher McCulloh, Rachel McCulloh, Kristyna McCulloh, Trevor Mulvaney, Dylan Mulvaney, Ashley Miklovic and Samantha Miklovic; and four great-grandchildren, Sarah McCulloh, Seth McCulloh, Brandon Hanson and Sylas Nielson.
Preceded by his parents, Charles A. and LaVelle (nee McNerny) Williamson; brothers, Warren and Jack Williamson; stepson, Eric McCulloh; and grandson, Matthew Williamson.
Funeral Services for James P. Williamson will be held Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. Memorials in his name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
