Obituary of Margaret Pubentz

Margaret K. Pubentz (nee Kodrick) Age 84. At rest Sunday, April 21, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Margaret is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence Sr.; her devoted children, Judith Schubert (Ben Stine), Nancy (Patrick) Hallihan, Lawrence Pubentz, Jr., Donald (Andrea) Pubentz, Michael (Linda) Pubentz, Karen Pubentz and Mary Pubentz; her grandchildren, Melissa Hallihan, Ryan, Katie and Jenna Pubentz, and Alec Pubentz; her brother, Donald (Carol) Kodrick; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis P. and Isabel (Simonic) Kodrick. Margaret was a graduate of St. Joseph's Grade School and Providence High School. She was employed by Burr Oak Library System until her retirement. While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we are strengthened by her beautiful example of a life well-lived, with grace, dignity, love and compassion. Funeral Services for Margaret Pubentz will be Friday, April 26, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to the Church of St. Jude for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
