Obituary of William Barrett

Barrett, William F. III "Bill" Age 67, of Joliet, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at Loyola University Medical Center, with his loving family at his side. Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is his wife's best friend and he dearly loves his children and grandchildren. Bill was a graduate of Lewis University and was a Certified Public Accountant. He worked as a real estate tax analyst for Ducharme, McMillen & Associates at the time of his death, and previously worked as a property tax manager for both Chrysler and Ford Motor Companies in Michigan. He founded Market Value Consultants in Naperville. Preceded in death by his parents, William, Jr. and Filomena Barrett; one sister, Margaret Ann; and his faithful companion, Ollie. Survived by his beloved wife, Mary F. (nee Reposh) Barrett of Joliet; two children, Michelle (Robert) Larson of Lisle and Robert (Tracey) Barrett of Elk Grove Village; four grandsons, Jack and Samuel Larson and Miles and Logan Barrett; his siblings, Kathleen (partner Robert Donnelson) Steinwart of Goodyear, AZ, Jerry (Jennifer) Barrett of Darien, Patricia (Bob) Hartell of Plainfield, Barbara Barrett of Los Angeles, CA, Timothy (Karen) Barrett of Springfield, Mary Sexauer of Vista, CA, Nancy Andrews of Wheaton and John (Marcella) Barrett of Glendale, AZ; numerous nieces and nephews, and his companion, Yorkie. Funeral Services for Bill Barrett will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet to Holy Family Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
