Obituary of Catherine Bradbury

Catherine E. Bradbury "Kay" (nee Walsh) Age 71. Peacefully Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her home in Wilmington, sitting at the kitchen table, drinking a cup of coffee, looking out the window watching wildlife, following complications arising from a stroke. Born in Plainfield and a longtime Will and Grundy County resident. Her greatest loves in life were her family, camping, fishing, line dancing and above all, garage saleing. She was a devoted animal lover. Survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Robert Dale Bradbury of Wilmington; five sons, David Hanson of Dallas, TX, Eric Hanson and Joseph Hanson of Wilmington, Darin Hanson of Plainfield and Robert Bradbury also of Wilmington; two daughters, Christine (Tom) Simmons of Tennessee and Cathy Hanson of Wilmington; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul (Cindy) Walsh of Custer Park, IL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Catherine E. Bradbury will be Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet.
