Obituary of Thomas Phistry

Thomas A. Phistry, Sr. Age 76. Passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his home in Shorewood. Born in Chicago, IL to Ethel M. (nee Donofrio) and the late Philip Phistry. He attended Kelly High School, Class of 1956. Survived by his loving wife, Joan (nee Jarzabek); his mother, Ethel M. Panozzo; children, JoEllyn (the late Ed) Miller, Tom Jr. (Connie) Phistry and Sue (Rick) Bower; grandchildren, Rocky and Tony Mondello, Tom, Kimberly and Daniel Phistry and Nicki and Ricky Bower; great-grandchildren, Zack, Bella, Sebastian and Milania Mondello and Ryan Turner; one sister, Carole O'Reilly and brother, Philip Phistry. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Bob and Jim Phistry. A memorial gathering for Thomas A. Phistry, Sr. will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Please omit flowers.
