Obituary of JoAnn Deufel

JoAnn Deufel (nee Figiel) Age 76, of Joliet, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Chester, IL, she was a long time area resident. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Sorrows Grammar School and Providence High School in Chicago. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and cooking. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maggie (nee Miller) Figiel. Survived by her husband of 58 years, William P. Deufel; two sons, Kevin (Cathy) Deufel of Crest Hill and Kerry (Dawn) Deufel of Plainfield; one daughter, Karen Johnson of Joliet; four grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Andrew and Beth Deufel; one sister, Linda Peterson; sister-in-law, Mary (Harold) Dolgner; and two brothers-in-law, Thomas and Keith (Becky) Deufel. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to JoAnn's daughter-in-law, Cathy Deufel for all the loving care that she had provided. Funeral Services for JoAnn Deufel will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
