Ann Marie's impact will live on in all of us. She lived through more hardships than most families do in a lifetime. Ann Marie was the strongest person any of us knew. She was a second mother to my brother and I for many years, years that will never be forgotten by any in our large extended family.
Ann Marie had more patience than any person I have met before or after. Her honesty is a virtue that will live on with all of us. She fostered, mentored, and shaped the lives of so many young people. She helped take care of countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and one very special Grand Daughter. Ann Marie could always be counted on to help a family. Her unending care and love for those around her will leave a lasting influence on multiple families, groups of friends, and those who loved her most.
There are not enough words to describe the good deeds that Ann Marie performed. She was always there to lend a hand, laugh at a joke, and even tell you when you're acting out of line. One quality that will be missed most about Ann Marie is her personality. Her one liners and quick comebacks always reminded us not to get too full of ourselves. And Ann Marie was a genuinely great person. While most families would be out and about on a weekend, Ann Marie would be helping take care of a single-parent household, or watching a family friend's children. Ann Marie was the mother most children wish they had. She was never hesitant to let people have fun. Ann Marie brought out the best in people, she kept us all honest. You could have a more interesting 5 minute conversation with Ann Marie than an hour long conversation with most people.
Her family is not just losing a loving wife, mother, sister, or friend. We are losing the second opinion that no one else had the guts to tell you. Her personality was never afraid to tell it like it is. She cut to the chase, and as many of her younger relatives can attest to, you aren't going to pull a fast one on Ann Marie.
The loss of Ann Marie leaves a void that no amount of grief can fill. The amount of love she showered on everyone will never be matched. She showed us all how to survive, how to love each other no matter how much pain we may be in, how to do the right thing in any situation. Ann Marie's unending love for her family and friends leaves us with a great example to live by. Her kindness and care will never be forgotten.
Ann Marie's kindness and compassion shows in the people closest to her, and the people she loved the most are shining examples of Ann Marie's impact. Ann Marie was a shoulder to cry on, a guardian angel to her family, and especially someone who could easily make your sides hurt from laughing so hard.
Ann Marie leaves everyone with fond memories, a touch of honesty, a life of endless love.

"May sympathy from those who care, bring comfort to your heart-
And may you know that those you love are never far apart...
May it help and console you to remember often too,
That many comforting thoughts are very close to you!" So sorry for your loss. May peace, prayers and blessings be with you and your family! ♥
