"Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy."...I know that you will always be with your girls, watching over them and giving them your love. Rest in peace, Uncle John.

As a little girl John would always tease me and I looked as him as my
older brother. I hated moving away from all my cousin I remember that
being at there house was fun but John would try and scare me and tell me
dont go up stairs... Not sure what was up there but I never when upstairs
I also remember he always had alot of friends. why does it take sonething
like this to remember someone. I hope my cousins realize I do Miss them alot.
May John rest in peace and say hi to my Dad (Mickey) and Uncle Bob And his Dad
and Grandma and Grandpa I bet Grandma is chasing him. LOL

This is John's cousin Kimberly. I remember the time when him and the guys made summertime fun situation in which they turned the plot of trees into the Oooga Booga Land and they were dressed up and we toured in the small forested area and were scared to death walking through even though it was daylight. It was like you were sent to a different country. John would jump out and say I am the Oooga Booga Monster. We were all screaming and then had something like lemonade and cookies at the end.
I remember for being such a tease during LT days especially at the North Campus and would say I am telling Auntie Eileen and Uncle Mickey if you get into trouble so you better behave and would smile and laugh and go back to what he was doing, before going to class. He was the Saban Boy and would tease you but also protect you!
I know that you are seeing everyone that has passed say Hi to everyone, but especially my Dad, Michael. See you on the otherside in the future!
Love Ya! Kimmie

John's sister, Jackie, is my best friend. We lived blocks from each other in Brookfield. We were together all the time as teens. I remember hanging out with John and all his friends, "The Brookfield Boys", and many parties at the Saban House. Growing up around John, meant having an older brother always there to protect and to watch over all us girls. John, or Pinner as his friends called him, loved to tease us and annoy us. He was the big brother I did not have. I remember one time when my boyfriend, at the time, was being rude to me at a picnic at Braidwood quarries, and John jumped all over him. As we grew older and had families, we ended up living in the same town again. I cherish the memories I have with him, and will miss him dearly. God Bless you John. I hope you are still watching over me!!! Love you!!!
