Obituary of Virginia Brown

Virginia A. "Jean" Brown (nee Bianchi) Age 84. Peacefully, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Presence Villa Franciscan Nursing Home with her family by her side. Born in Joliet, and a lifelong Joliet/Elwood area resident. A graduate of Joliet Township High School. Following high school graduation, she was employed at the Insurance Exchange in Chicago, and Caterpillar in Joliet. She has been a longtime member of the St. Joseph Hospital Women's Auxiliary. Preceded by her husband, Robert R. Brown (1996); her parents, Armando and Ada (nee Fiori) Bianchi; and one brother, Hugo Bianchi. Survived by one son, Michael R. Brown of Buffalo Grove; and one sister, Mary Lanham of Lockport. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Virginia A. Brown will be Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment Brown Cemetery in Elwood.
