Brosnan, Thomas J.
Thomas "Tom" J. Brosnan. Age 62. Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Rush University Medical Center, following complications arising from CNS Lymphoma, with his family by his side. Born in Chicago and a longtime Shorewood area resident. An avid Bears fan.
Preceded by his parents, Paul and Norma (nee Lang) Brosnan.
Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marianne (nee Haran) Brosnan of Shorewood; one daughter, Rebecca (Paul) Hrvatin of Manhattan; one son, John (Sara) Brosnan of Naperville; four grandchildren, Jenna and Jack, and Reese and Luke; one sister, Patricia (John) Egan of Huntley; one brother-in-law, James (Claudia) Haran of Chicago; one niece, Vanessa (Kevin) Leonard of Ireland; three nephews, Daniel Egan, and Jason and Nigel Haran; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends also survive.
Funeral services for Thomas J. Brosnan will be Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 9:45 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home chapel, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, to St. Jude Catholic Church, Joliet, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lymphoma Leukemia Society or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
