Obituary of Patricia Alaimo

Patricia A. Alaimo (nee Riley) Entered eternal life peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2013, at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center with her family by her side. Preceded in death by her husband, Michael P. Alaimo (January 5, 1998); and parents, James P. and Mary T. (nee Keating) Riley. Surviving are one daughter, Mary (Richard) Davis of Joliet; two sons, Jim (Sandy) Alaimo and Frank (Peggy) Alaimo, both of Joliet; six grandchildren, Cheri (Steve) Polich, Gina (Frank) Svara, Mike (Shawna) Alaimo, Amy (Brian) Alaimo-Kruse, Tony Alaimo, and Michael David Davis; ten great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Marie (Ed) Bick-Ciesielski; her former daughter-in-law, Shirley Alaimo; her special friend, Robert Ftacek; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She worked for U.S. Steel for many years as a teletyper, and was an active member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and its C.C.W. Patricia loved spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Funeral services for Patricia A. Alaimo will be Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Crest Hill, for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following services and interment at Resurrection Cemetery will be at a later date.
