Obituary of Brenda Lloyd

Brenda Kay Lloyd (nee Geary) Age 62, of Morris, IL, died peacefully at home on June 10, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Brenda was born November 9, 1950, in Greenville, KY. She was the daughter of Thomas and Norma Geary (nee Faith) of Central City, KY. She graduated from Bremen High School in 1969. On January 7, 1978, she married P. Wayne Lloyd of Morris, IL. Surviving are her husband, P. Wayne Lloyd; daughter, Michelle (Brad) Cooper Allen of Minooka, IL; son, Mark Lloyd (Christie Burr) of Morris, IL; step-daughter, Lesa (Ralph) Anderson of Orlando, FL; step-son, Shawn Lloyd of Mosinee, WI; like a daughter, LeAnn (Steve) Leadinghouse of Morris, IL; her beloved eight grandchildren, Aidan and Alex Allen, Melissa and Jamie Anderson, Jenna and Paige Lloyd and Lindsay and Tyler Leadinghouse. Also surviving are numerous siblings; sister Beverly Salyers of Xenia, OH; brother, William (Jo-Ann) Geary of Central City, KY; brother, John (Martha) Geary of Paris, TN; brother, Rev. Joseph (Karen) Geary; brother Donald (Karen) Geary of Central City, KY; special friends, Donna Crylan and Kim Marx; and also left behind, her faithful dog, Cocoa. Preceding her in death, were her daughter Renee Cooper; her father, Thomas Geary; her mother, Norma Geary and brothers, Thomas and Boone Geary. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She dedicated all her time, love, and energy to her family.
