Obituary of Godofredo Cruz

Godofredo Cruz, Sr. Age 91, of Joliet, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. Survived by his children, Fred (Rosalinda) Cruz, Estela (Donaciano) Guzman, Jaime (Guillermina) Cruz, John (Nancy) Cruz, Berta (Teodoro) Rosales, Gustavo (Irma) Cruz, Guadalupe (Bonnie) Cruz, and Raul (Luz) Cruz; daughter-in-law, Gregoria Cruz; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Josefina Cruz (1998); daughters, Maria Del Toro (1989), and Gloria Cruz (2006); son, Arturo Cruz (2011); and grandson, Jose Guadalupe Rosales (1999). Funeral Services for Godofredo Cruz, Sr. will be Monday, June 24, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
