Obituary of Donald Knust

Donald Terry Knust Age 63, of Plainfield. At rest Saturday, June 22, 2013 suddenly at home. Born in South Bend, IN to Rita and the late Donald T. Knust. A 1972 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelors Degree in communications and a Masters Degree from Michigan State University. He lived in Lansing, MI from 1972-1984, South Bend, IN from 1984-1992, and the greater Joliet area since 1992. He was employed with Media Management II for 15 years, after his career in radio management. Survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Jeanette (nee Hanneken) Knust; his children, Matthew Knust, Lindsay (Michael) Barnicle, and Colin Knust, stepchildren, Jeffrey Weinhold and Erin Weinhold; grandson, Tyler Knust; one brother, Mark (Janet) Knust; two sisters, Becky Shoulders and Kathy (John) Shurr; his mother, Rita Knust. Preceded in death by his father; two sisters, Constance Tarkowski and Mary Beth Eliasson. Terry was loved by many, and will be dearly missed. Funeral Services for Terry Knust will be Friday, June 28, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
