Obituary of Jeffrey Henkaline

Jeffrey Scott Henkaline Age 57. Suddenly passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at his late residence following an apparent heart attack. Born in Lima, OH, he was a longtime Minooka area resident. Employed at Harrah's Casino as a poker room supervisor. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, whose greatest loves in life were his family, friends and those long cycle road trips with his best friend, companion and loving wife. Jeff was also a jack of all trades. Whatever he did he succeeded at, from a mechanic, computer enthusiast, craftsman, gardener, to canning his own food. Survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sherree Karon Henkaline of Minooka; two sons, Dustin (Amanda) of Joliet and Ryan (Laura) Henkaline of Channahon; one daughter, Shannon Henkaline of Joliet; three grandchildren, Ayden, Ellie and Ryleigh Henkaline; his parents, Keven and Virginia Henkaline of Zionsville, IN; four sisters, Kim Henkaline of Indiana, Nancy Vinson of Illinois, Cindy (Barry) Simpson of Nevada and Heidi (Mike) Blair of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Jeffrey Scott Henkaline will be Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet. Cremation Rites will be accorded following his funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
