Obituary of Patsy Shaw

Patsy A. Shaw "Pat" (nee Moore) Age 74, of Plainfield, IL and formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 after a courageous and often times miraculous battle with cancer. Lifetime member of the First Church of God. She joins her loving husband, the late Ronald D. Shaw. Survived by five children, Ronald Shaw of Plainfield, Timothy (Cathy) Shaw of Channahon, Rev. Derek (Tammie) Shaw of Marion, Tracey (Rev. Jeff) Crowder of Des Moines, IA, and Rev. Jonathan (Tia) Shaw of Kalispell, MT; her self-adopted son and loving friend, Bruce Losardo; her cherished neighbors, Richard and Hazel Eaton; beloved canine companion of 17 years, Topanga; and many dear friends. Grammy adored her 16 grandchildren, Alexa, Aaron, Alaina, Austin, Corryne, Nathaniel, Bethany, Caleb, Micah, Emma, Abigail, Sophia, Stephen, Sarah, Isaac and Malaya. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Helen Moore of Harrisburg; dear aunt, Nellie Millikan also of Harrisburg; and her in-laws, Rev. Loy and Mary Shaw of Bonnie. She was a 1957 graduate of Harrisburg High School, and went on to graduate from Draughton Business College of Paducah, KY. She was active in the Church of God for more than 60 years. A tireless worker for Christ, she was an inspiration to many. Pat asked us to tell you all, "I love you more". Pat A. Shaw will Lie in State on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the First Church of God, 203 School Street, Shorewood, IL from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services with interment on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Cemetery, Route 37, Mt.
