Obituary of William Miller

William Jay Miller "Jay Bird" Age 56. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at his late residence following a courageous battle with a chronic disease. Born in Kankakee and a longtime Saunemin, IL resident. A construction laborer and a member of the Laborers Union Local #751. He was also a local area farmer up until his illness prevented him from continuing. He was a man of few words, who liked to keep it simple, but when he spoke, you knew he was there. Survived by his loving wife, Dianna M. (nee Henderson) Miller; one son, Noah Henderson both of Saunemin; one sister, Linda Rosen of California. A celebration of Jay Bird's life will be August 10, 2013 at 1-4 p.m. at the Saunemin Community Center, 39 Main Street, Saunemin, IL 61769 where stories and fellowship will be celebrated.
