Obituary of Christopher Ries

Christopher D. Ries Age 38, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at Rush University Medical Center. Raised in Schaumburg, IL and graduated from N.I.U. 1998. Loving husband of Meggan Curcio-Ries; cherished companion of Buddy, Jack and Duncan; beloved son of Gail (nee Duy) and the late Jack Ries; dear brother of Nicholas, Erica and Elizabeth Ries; fond son-in-law of Sharon Curcio; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Visitation to celebrate Christopher's life will be Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet, Il. As it was Christopher's wish, Cremation Rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
