Obituary of Martha Uhler

Martha A. Uhler (nee Kluge) Age 70. At rest Monday, August 5, 2013 at her late residence following a valiant battle with M.S. Born in Joliet, longtime resident of Shorewood, graduate of Joliet Township High School and former owner/operator of Jim's Auto Supply. Surviving are her two daughters, Teri (Todd) Baum of Monee and Tana (Mathew) Evers of Wilmington; two grandsons, Kyle and Logan Baum; her mother, Mary (Brown) Kluge of Coal City; two sisters, Donna Reid of IN and Lori (Michael) Holmes of Morris; one brother, James Kluge of Coal City; her sister-in-law, Joan (late John) Gannaway of CA; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by her loving husband, Leonard Uhler (2003); and her father, Herman Kluge (2006). The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mom's caregivers, Bonnie and Vicki for their kind and compassionate care over the years. Funeral Services for Martha A. Uhler will be Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
