Obituary of Anna Pavletich

Anna M. Pavletich (nee Murnick) Age 92. Passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, with her family by her side. Born February 9, 1921 in Pana, IL to the late Michael and Susan (nee Thomas) Murnick. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family always came first. Survived by her children, Judy (Jim Morris) Whiteman of Orlando, FL, Dennis (Kris) Pavletich of Bonita, CA, Rita Weiss of New Lenox, Mary Beth (Dave) Adams of Joliet, and Joanne George of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Lee) Fields, Eddie (Leah) Whiteman, Megan (Joe) Keenan, Ashley Weiss, Jeffrey (Virginia) Long, Sr., Cooper McReynolds, Amanda (Jack) Benigno, Nick George and Kyle George; eleven great-grandchildren; her sister, Barbara Heck of Lockport; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Pavletich (1994); sisters, Mary, Susan, Katherine, Mildred and Betty; brothers George, Michael and Frank; and two brothers and two sisters in childhood. Funeral Services for Anna M. Pavletich will be Monday, August 12, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. Memorials in her name to Friends of Sunny Hill or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
