Obituary of Jason Clearwater

Jason E. Clearwater "Champ" Age 35 of Minooka, IL was born on January 5, 1978 in Joliet, and was taken suddenly from his family and friends after suffering a fall that resulted in an irreversible brain injury on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Jason was surrounded by loved ones when he left this world. His mark will remain as he became an organ donor and has already saved several lives by his gifts. Jason was raised in Mazon and was a proud graduate of Seneca High School, Class of 1996. Jason was initiated with the Carpenters' Local #916 in 1997. He graduated from the Chicago Regional Council Apprenticeship Training Program April 28, 2001. He was a member of Carpenters' Union Local #916 with over 16 years of service. He was a skilled and hard worker who would help anyone who was in need. Survived by his loving mother, Linda (nee Pazely) Clearwater of Minooka; his father, John (Kim) Clearwater of Naperville; his girlfriend of 15 years, Tyleen Harper of Morris; two sisters, Kelly (Paul) McCoy and Michelle (Nate) Olson, both of Minooka; one niece, Paisley Olson; three nephews, Porter and Pryce Olson and Grayden McCoy; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends also survive. Jason was a sports fanatic, continuing to play softball and alumni football as an adult. He loved a game of bags, Michigan Wolverines, the Cubs, and Bears. He was generous, supportive, extremely funny and loving. He made everyone he met feel special. Funeral Services for Jason E. Clearwater will be Friday, August 23, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Mary Catholic Church in Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. As it was Jason's request, Cremation Rites will be accorded following his funeral mass.
