Papai, Andrew Robert "Andy" Age 85. Passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his late residence. Born in Chicago on February 21, 1928 to Andrew J. and Mary R. (nee Josa) Papai. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Retired from U.S. Steel with over 40 years of service. Survived by his children, Dawn (William) Broderick, Robert (Susan) Papai and Michael (Susan) Papai; proud grandfather of Jason (Kelly) Broderick, Jeremy Broderick, Justin Broderick, Joseph Papai and Christina Papai; aunt Esther Payne; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his wife, Adeline B. (Tekiela); son, Steven; and his parents. Funeral Services for Andrew R. Papai will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 9:45 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Plainfield for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
