Obituary of Theofilos Ascaridis

Theofilos E. Ascaridis Age 79. Passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at GlenBridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Niles. Born in Greece and a longtime Wheeling and Chicago area resident. Retired 30 years ago from the restaurant business. Preceded by his parents, Emanuel and Maria (nee Karas) Ascaridis; one brother, Myrodis (2012). Survived by two daughters, M. Kate Ascaridis of Texas and Kristina Ascaridis Adachi of Libertyville, IL; one son, Mark Ascaridis of Texas; two grandchildren, Katrina Moore and Thomas Moore of Libertyville; one brother, James (Demetra) Ascaridis of Joliet; four nephews, Michael (Beverly) of Chicago, Matthew (Darcy) of Highland Park, Joseph Ascaridis of Chicago and his godson, John Ascaridis of Texas; and three nieces, Theresa Ascaridis, Maria Flatt and Georgia (Doug) Kanive all of Joliet also survive. Funeral Services for Theofilos E. Ascaridis will be Monday, September 30, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church for services at 9:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
