My Grandma was an extraordinary woman I was truly blessed to have known her. my children adored her. I would even say they knew her better than I ever did and she loved them with all her heart. My Grandma would give them gifts and say it was so they would remember her. when she passed, the children ran to their rooms and took out ALL of the treasures she gave them and held into them tight and said they will never forget her. My youngest son, whom has a deep aversion to people, smiled at her the second he saw her during our first visit with her this summer. when it was time to leave that day, he gave her a hug AND kiss goodbye. This was really out of character for him but he knew she was special, we all did. She had a way with the children and a bond that can never be broken. My Grandma was an extraordinary woman and we will miss her and continue to love her and keep her in our hearts.
She will truly be missed by those whose lives she touched, but I know she's in a much better place with no pain, knowing this helps to ease the sorrow. Love you, Mom!
