Obituary of Jerome Kent

Jerome L. Kent Age 83, late of Channahon and a former Chicago resident, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at his home. Jerry was born in Chicago to the late Johanna (Inczauskis) and Hilton Kent. He served as a Staff Sergeant in our U.S. Air Force 353rd Fighter Intercepter Squadron, Langely Field, VA. He helped build bunkers in Elmendorf AFV in Anchorage, Alaska. Beloved husband of 58 years to the late Virginia (King) Kent; loving father of Alan Kent, Darlene (Kent) Harris and Roger Kent; proud papa of Ian and Kevin Kent, Jennifer (Harris) Lucio, Danny, Collin and Courtney Kent; dear great-grandpa to Jayden Lucio-Harris and Rocco Lucio; fond brother of Bernice Stankiewicz, Les Kent and the late James Kent; brother-in-law of Eileen and Florence King. Funeral Services for Jerome L. Kent will be Friday, October 25, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to St. Ann Catholic Church, Channahon for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
