Obituary of Helga Deiringer

Helga Deiringer Age 75, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center, with her loving family by her side. Born February 20, 1938 in Rottweil, Germany, she came to this country at an early age and has been a longtime Joliet resident. She is the retired co-owner and operator of Muren Motors in Joliet. She will be remembered for her love of cats, especially rescuing and finding homes for many cats and kittens. Surviving are her daughter, Carla (Kevin) Adams of Shorewood; her son, David (Karen) Deiringer of West Allis, WI; six grandchildren, Sarah (Kevin), Mikol (fiancee Briana), Shauna, Ashley, Nicole and Kevin Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Allison, Jacob and Oliver; her sisters, Elke (late Anthony) Guidice of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, Margot (late Alois) Voegtle and Irene Tossmann in Germany; one brother, Ewald (Christl) Link in Germany; along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving companion of 30 years and business associate, William Muren and his sons, William (Christina), Jeffrey and Michael. She was preceded by her parents, Reinhold and Frida Link; her sister, Frida Bippus; two brothers, Josef Link and Rudolf Link; and her former husband, Siegfried Deiringer. Memorial Services for Helga Deiringer will be held Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet where visitation will be held Sunday from 12:00 Noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
